BRECKENRIDGE REAL ESTATE FOR SALE - BRECKENRIDGE EAST
Stunning views of the valley and Breckenridge Ski Resort
The subdivisions east of Breckenridge offer the most desirable views across the span of the Blue River Valley to the peaks of Breckenridge Ski Resort. This area includes the residential neighborhoods of Huron Heights/Silver Shekel, Baldy/Boreas, and Wellington. Real estate on the east side is ideal for enjoying the afternoon sun and benefits from a slightly lower elevation, promising earlier snowmelt in the spring.
Deed restricted homes for locals
Although the demand is quite high, there are affordable housing options that make residing in Breckenridge sustainable. Residents who work 30 or more hours per week in Summit County have the opportunity to purchase deed-restricted housing. In the Wellington and Lincoln Park Neighborhoods, home prices under deed restriction run approximately 2/3 of market value, are regulated at a lower level, and can only appreciate at a rate set by the local housing authority.
Access to some of Summit County's premier trails
The legacy of the rich mining history of Summit County is a complex network of trails and forestry roads crisscrossing the eastern flank of Breckenridge. One of the highlights of owning real estate in East Breckenridge is having ample opportunities for outdoor adventure. Your property in Breckenridge will have you mountain biking on the maintained trails from Aspen Alley to Slalom in Gibson Hill, cross-country skiing on the B&B trail, and hitting the backcountry on Baldy Mountain.
